Daron Mackie

Daron joined the Samuel Hall team in 2017 to support resilience pillar lead and co-director, Hervé Nicolle. She graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in International Studies, minoring in African Studies. Prior to working at Samuel Hall, she worked with a non-profit organisation in Northern Uganda focused on women’s empowerment, as well as in the U.S. for the International Rescue Committee as an AmeriCorps member and caseworker to recently resettled refugees with high medical and mental health needs. Her primary area of interest is gender equality within the context of migration and displacement.
