Kelvin Laititi
Research Assistant

Kelvin Laititi joined Samuel Hall in November 2024 as a Research Assistant in pillar 2, Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning. Kelvin holds a dual bachelor's degree in Economics and in Diplomacy and International Relations from Kenyatta University and The University of Nairobi. He is in the final stage of his Master of Economics degree with a speciality in Cooperation and Human Development.

Kelvin’s expertise mainly delves in development economics, advancing approaches that seek to build the capacities of rural and vulnerable populations towards sustainable livelihoods. Previously he worked as a MEAL consultant for various development projects in Kenya, Somalia and Yemen. Kelvin has supported the development of logical and methodological frameworks in the design, programming and implementation of development programmes adapted to various contexts and themes.

He has oriented his expertise on diverse thematic sectors including youth and women inclusion, livelihood programming activities, food security and nutrition, environmental restoration as well as entrepreneurship and business development. Kelvin has programmed his skills and knowledge to advance the rights, aspirations and needs of the communities he engages with to ensure positive long-term impacts.
