Pauline Reyss
Senior Research Assistant

Pauline Reyss joined Samuel Hall in December 2024 as a Senior Research Assistant within the Monitoring, Evaluation, Assessment and Learning Pillar, based in Nairobi. She holds a Master's degree in Conflict Transformation & Peace Studies from the Paris-Dauphine University focusing on project and crisis management, peacebuilding, disaster risk reduction, and development financing.

Prior to Samuel Hall, she managed development, emergency and research projects in several NGOs in Senegal and France, such as the Danish Refugee Council, ALIMA and the French Red Cross. With experience in various roles across NGOs, she has built up a strong interest in mixed migration, child protection and economic recovery, and gradually transitioned her career focus toward research.

As Project Officer for North and West Africa within the Mixed Migration Centre, she contributed to several methodology design, analysis, data collection strategies, enumerators training, and dissemination events. She supported proposals, research reports and context analysis to cross qualitative and quantitative data and advocate for evidence-based programming.
